Editing Workshop

Date: 20th July, 2019

Time: 10:30am - 1:30pm

Cost: £15

Venue: The Discovery Centre, Jewery Street, Winchester

Run in connection with the 'Itchen to Write' writers group, this session will focus on bringing your work up to the desired industry standard. We will be covering drafting, editing, proof-editing, formatting and more. Session notes with examples will be provided.

Plot and Structure

Date: 30 March, 2019

Time: 10:30am – 1:30pm

Cost: £15

Venue: Southampton Library, Civic Centre

Focusing on plot and structure to help you create pieces that are correctly paced and thoughtfully designed to keep readers intrigued and hankering for more. Session notes with examples will be provided.

Parking limited, though convenient to rail and bus stations.

Editing, Drafting & Formatting

Date: 18 August, 2018

Time: 10am – 1pm

Cost: £10

Venue: Eastleigh Library, Swan Centre

This session will focus on bringing your work up to the desired industry standard- we only have one chance to make a good impression with our stories and screenplays so it is important not to rush them out the door! We will be covering drafting, editing, proof-editing, formatting and more. Session notes with examples will be provided.

Ample parking, and convenient to rail and bus stations!
